Redressing Monogram Magnificent

I like the FR Monogram dolls but am happy with just one, thank you. Monograms are supposedly the couture edition of FR, so Wallis (a former Monogram Magnificent) brings a tad of difference to my cast of girls.

Having just received the FR Monogram 2011 Bemused outfit in the mail today, Wallis came out for some redressing. The Bemused outfit doesn’t strike me as particularly couture so we dressed it up with a Mattel sweater, an SLDoll belt and a La Boutique purse, then added a pin to the sweater plus some earrings and bracelets for a bit of sparkle.

A dressed up dolly, of course, has to be seen in public.

Uh-oh! Looks like she’s searching through her bag for her credit card.

Why are dollies never sated? Rhetorical question.

Ma Petite Chaise (No. 3)

Saddlebrook Lounger:

The Saddlebrook Lounger is a 50s inspired contemporary chair. This 1:6 model can be picked up on eBay for $16.99 with free shipping. Note, before purchasing, that the chrome base is over-sized, and the construction, while sturdy, is not sleekly designed. However, it is an inexpensive option for a dolly looking for a natural choice for her retro interior.

Cheers!

Ma Petite Chaise (No. 2)

I pulled out an old timer today to play with, along with my favorite Star Doll who has been named Harper. The chair was my second miniature chair purchase many many years ago. It is a pin cushion chair from Joanne’s. Cost: somewhere between $7-15.

Harper was rebodied on a fashionista. She is wearing an ITBE fashion along with a bracelet made by me.

Naughty dolly!

Baby It's You Chip Farnsworth III

When the Baby It’s You giftset first previewed, Chip Farnsworth III and Poppy Parker were touted as the perfect couple. Um… no, sorry. I’m not a Poppy collector but I am a huge male doll fan so I had other plans. I have broken the couple up, literally and figuratively, and brought Chip up to snuff with a more current vibe.

His pompadour has been removed, he will be renamed then introduced to a bevy of new girls. Such fun!

Adieu, dear Poppy.

Ma Petite Chaise

Pottery Barn Sculptural Chair

 Library Chair: 4" wide x 3.5" deep x 5" high

I adore 1:6 scale chairs. Back in January 2012 I purchased a miniature replica of a library chair from Pottery Barn. They also have a Ladderback and Windsor style. Retail approx. $20. Pottery Barn intended these chairs to be decorative items for your home office, den or living room. Dani shows us a much better use for them.  ;-)
