We Have A Winner!

The votes are in and we have a winner of the Randall Craig Summer Sun frock.

Thank you for your votes, everybody. It was a satisfying turnout and we appreciate you all.

Wallis, take your bow.

When Harper used the word “stunning” I should have taken her at her word. Sigh...

Can anyone recommend a good doll hair restorer?

Who Wore It Best?

“Summer Sun”
Randall Craig Ready Wear
LE 65
Release: 2012

Summer Sun is so much fun. With a nipped waist, swing style skirt and halter style neckline, it is a 50s inspired classic. The colors are sweet, and so is the coordinating twisted bead necklace.

This style was fitted to a Monogram, but also fits Poppy Parker and NuFace. It may also fit Silkstone, DG and ModelMuse, but it will not fit regular FR.

The girls at my house are all a-twitter over this lovely frock. Vying for ownership is Monogram Magnificent and Poppy Parker.

Who do you think wore it best?

Wait! What the....?

Please! Don't any of you dare!

Lady in Red Erin, chop your hair off!

Lady in Red Erin arrived yesterday and I thought my heart had stopped! I am loving Erin’s new face mold but can’t believe how drastically different LIR Erin looks (in a really good way) from HEE Erin. I love that IT didn’t do the obvious and give her a strong red lipstick to match her red fashion. Her neutral makeup palette (eyes and lips) make her much more versatile for redressing and styling, and her forward-looking eyes, framed with luscious lashes, rank high on my preference list.

My only nitpick (there always has to be one, right?) is her hair. Not a fan of the crimped Rapunzel look.

Solution - straighten and shorten. Unfortunately, or fortunately as it actually turns out, no amount of boiling water would erase the crimping. But a serious trim loosened those crimps into delicious waves and she is now a complete heart stopper.

Work that hair, LIR Erin!

Ma Petite Chaise (No. 9)

 Modern Swivel Office Armchair

The modern swivel office arm chair is produced by ZC World. They can be purchased as a six-piece set in multi colors for approx. $54/set, or individually for approx. $15 each.

My office chair differs somewhat, as it is solid black, leading me to believe it originated from ZCWO’s 1/6 Senior Secretary Iron Man Pepper Potts action figure.

The things I like about this chair is that the seat height is adjustable (long-legged FRs are as comfortable as babs sitting in it), it swivels and it has a roominess suitable for broader male dolls.

The little coward! :-<
